Spinach Pakora Wraps

Chickpea Flour/besan

Chopped Fresh Spinach

Large Onion Long Slices or Diced

Small Potatoes Diced
3
Green chilies or per taste

tsp
Red chili powder

Amchur/Mango Powder

Chaat Masala
Boxed street snack spice*

Coriander Powder
optional*
Salt per taste
Oil for frying
Wraps
Indian Rotis or Tortillas

Small Onion Sliced(long)
Chopped Lettuce
Mint/Cilantro Chutney
dash
Chaat Masala
Instructions
Pakora Recipe
Chop the spinach roughly(not finely).
Dice chop onions and potatoes into small pieces
Add chickpea flour, spices and mix well
Add little water as needed to make a batter
Heat oil on low to medium heat in a wok
Use a medium-slotted spoon to drop small amounts of batter in the wok (I use another small spoon to glide it gently into the oil)
Let them sit on a paper towel to let the excess oil drain
Assembling the Wrap
Spread some Green Mint/Cilantro Chutney on the tortilla
Add some freshly chopped onions and lettuce
Sprinkle some Chaat Masala
Roll into a wrap and it is ready!!
Notes
*If you do not have these spices, do not worry as they will still taste great…anything fried tastes amazing.LOL :) -
Do not add too much water to the batter, it should not be runny.
-My mom uses her fingers to drop the batter into the oil, be careful your fingers do not touch the oil.
